Karl Pessinis has more than 20 years of experience in consulting services and information technology. Prior to co-founding Ascend Consulting, Karl co-founded Business Technologies, an IT consultancy specializing in business transformation initiatives. During his time as Managing Partner at BT, Karl provided program and engagement management consulting to Fortune 1000 clients focused in the financial services vertical. With the merger with Cohesive Technology Solutions, Karl was responsible for all operations of the Boston office. In the year under Karl, the Boston branch grew from $5 million to $8 million in revenue and ramped to over 100 consultants. With Exodus Communications, Karl managed branches in Boston, Washington DC, and Toronto, with combined revenues of over $20 million. He later served as Vice President of North America Professional Services Operations, an organization of over 700 consulting professionals.
